Out On The Trails? Log Your Miles For GVLT

June 13, 2023by Sarah Day
Please join me and log your miles under the Berkshire Hathaway team to help GVLT get to 80,000 miles before June 30!
We are so lucky to have over 100 miles of trails here in the Gallatin Valley that we can enjoy. Regardless of where you live you are likely just minutes from a trailhead. Many of the trails can be accessed or connected to from downtown Bozeman – part of The Main Street to the Mountains trail system. This is a huge community benefit.

These trails and scenic views do not happen by accident. Gallatin Valley Land Trust (GVLT) has worked for over 30 years with landowners and community partners to help build and maintain the trail system. Their work becomes ever more important as our population continues to grow and trail demand increases. Now they need your help to make sure they can continue this work for the entire community to enjoy.

The GVLT Summer Trails Challenge is going on now! This is a free community event going on from June 3 – 30, 2023 that helps raise money for new and existing trails.

How does it work?
Walk, hike or bike on any trails in the Gallatin Valley then log your miles at https://gvlt.org/events/challenge/
1 mile = $1 raised

Then what?
The Summer Trails Challenge Match Pool funded by wonderful local businesses (including Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Montana Properties) goes directly to GVLT

What else?
There's an End-of-the-Challenge BBQ celebration on Friday, June 30 at the GVLT office downtown. Mark your calendars!
